About Bert
I am a graduate education assistant and I am now in my last year of the international PABO. This training is comparable to the regular teacher training. Where you give all classes in Dutch during the normal teacher training course, I give lessons in English or Dutch. After my graduation as a teaching assistant, I started a teacher education in the Netherlands. The program is focussed on teaching abroad as well as in the Netherlands. I have teaching experiences in American schools, IB, IPC and the Dutch curriculum in schools all over the world.

When giving lessons I like to make my students enthusiastic about what they want / have to learn. The visual (visible) making of the teaching material helps. I also try to apply as much movement as possible in my lessons. If the pupils like it, I like to use different IT tools (PC, camera, VR if possible). When I am teaching I love to make use of visualizations, movement and IT. Making my students active and enthusiastic for what they want, or to learn is key into the learning process! I prefer to start with the basics and we will start a journey of learning :)
