About Shreyaan
I am a 4th year (Masters) engineering student at the University of Cambridge. I’ve always had a passion for maths and physics and it is the reason I chose to pursue engineering at university, and I want to inspire this same passion in my students.
I’ve been teaching online since my first year of university, and I find it really enjoyable. In total I have taught about 5-6 students (GCSE and A Level) for their full year. It is fun to teach difficult concepts and break them down into intuitive ideas but it’s also important to make sure my student has a good grasp of the fundamentals.

I teach Physics, Maths, Further Maths at A level, GCSE and lower years students. I also prepare students for additional university entrance exams such as STEP, ENGAA, PAT.
My typical lesson involves a mixture of going through concepts that my student might be finding difficult in class and exam practice through past paper questions. I believe that testing my student’s understanding is really important so that I can help to fill in any gaps. I usually spend a larger fraction of the lesson on exam questions if my student has a test coming up soon, but it all depends on what the student would prefer. The typical length of a lesson for a subject is 1 hour but 2 lessons can always be joined back to back if that is more convenient (e.g. maths and physics back to back).
