About Alis

I have worked in the fitness industry and the education system for over 25 years. I trained as a fitness instructor initially learning about anatomy, how to develop physical health safely and how to choose and live a healthy lifestyle. As well as being a trained Yoga teacher, I am also a qualified school teacher and a certified life and executive coach. I take a holistic approach to mental and physical health and emotional wellbeing and am passionate about supporting others to maintain optimum, all-round health. As part of my training and study I have learnt about the importance of mindfulness and meditation. I teach meditation sessions, use mindfulness in my yoga and coaching sessions and can incorporate meditation into yoga sessions so my clients feel physically, mentally and spiritually supported. I believe a healthy mind and body helps us to remain more positive, builds our self-confidence and generates feelings of happiness, success and contentment.

About the lesson

I qualified as a 200hr Yoga teacher in Bali. The focus of my training includes Yoga styles (Vinyasa, Hatha, Yin and Restorative), anatomy, yoga philosophy, ethics, mindset and meditation. My studies continue and I remain passionate about mental and physical health and emotional wellbeing. I am also a certified life coach and am happy to create bespoke packages including yoga, meditation and life coaching, offering you a truly holistic approach to supporting your wellbeing. I offer private 1-2-1 sessions and small group sessions either online or in the comfort of your own home. Alternatively, I own a purpose-built yoga studio (shala) for private sessions, set in a peaceful landscaped garden offering a sense of peace, calm and quiet so that you truly have time to focus on your self-care.

Alis is one of the finest yoga teachers I have come across. Her classes are incredibly detailed and you get a real sense that her teaching is of the highest level. She was very sensitive to my abilities and was able to structure the class to fit my standard. I felt like I had a workout but I also felt like there was a lot of attention on the deeper aspects of yoga and what it has to offer me on and off the matt. I would recommend classes with Alis over anything on Youtube because what she offers is really special.
