About Ivy
My love for singing began long before I ever stood on a stage. Music was my way of expressing what words alone could not. Over the past ten years, I’ve turned that love into a lifelong pursuit of both performance and teaching. I’ve trained in multiple vocal disciplines, worked with choirs, and coached individual singers of every age and background. What I love most is watching students discover their own power and artistry through their voices. My teaching philosophy is rooted in empathy, precision, and encouragement. I blend structured technique with creativity, allowing each student to develop naturally and joyfully. I pay attention not just to vocal accuracy but also to emotional connection—helping singers communicate meaning through every phrase. Outside the classroom, I perform regularly, write songs, and attend vocal pedagogy workshops. Singing, for me, is both art and therapy—it connects people across emotions and experiences. Teaching it allows me to share that magic and witness others find their own sense of freedom and voice.

My singing lessons are crafted to help students connect their technique with their heart—to sing not just notes, but emotions. I believe every student carries a distinct voice that deserves to be discovered, nurtured, and celebrated. My approach blends the precision of vocal science with the warmth of creative expression, ensuring that lessons are both technically grounded and deeply personal. Each class is a safe space for growth, exploration, and self-expression.
Beginners focus on the essentials: posture, breathing, pitch, tone clarity, and vocal placement. Intermediate singers develop resonance, diction, and stylistic control across genres, while advanced students refine performance interpretation, stage presence, and endurance. Lessons also include training in vocal health, performance psychology, and repertoire building for auditions or live shows.
By the end of the learning journey, students achieve more than vocal skill—they gain confidence, authenticity, and emotional power. They leave each lesson feeling inspired, centered, and capable of using their voice as both an instrument and a reflection of who they are.
