About Odile

Our bodies crave alignment and space. When we are out of alignment or feel tight, it affects the way we move and feel througtout our day. I am very passionate about our bodies' healhty alignment and how to best achieve it. I am a Mastery Level Pilates trainer, orthopedic massage therapist, Gyrotonic trainer and energy practitioner. With over 15 years expericence, my skillset is effective and unique because I combine these methods, or use them individually, to help my clients achieve their best alignment. When we are aligned and feel space in our bodies, we move and breath easier, enjoy our favortie activies more and ultimately feel a sense of wellbeing.

About the lesson

I take a postureal assessment. I explain to clients what I see. I address areas that tight by guiding clients through stretches. Then we work on deep core strength found in the pelvis, abdomen and back. Then we use that same core strength to help address areas of weakness. If I'm working with an athletic client and weakness is not their issue, then we focus on building speed, agility, flexiblity and endurance to help them maximize their power in their sport or hobby.

I like to give homework. Clients who have a daily practice of doing their "home program" exercises develop thier practice much more effectively.
