I start by taking the time to understand the goals and needs of the student. I identify what has not worked and what has not worked in the past to come up with a game plan that leads to better results. There are many course corrections along the way as well as modifications and new challenges.
I use a combination of: Visual daily check list, Accountability, Rewards/motivation, for consequence for failing to meet a goal I focus on what resources were missing that lead to not achieving the goal. Often some element of time is involved in which case I work with the client to create the time needed to succeed.
