About Missy

Passion for teaching yoga and sharing knowledge with others. I truly believe yoga can transform your mind and body. Healing and growth through meditative movements.

I enjoy being active and promoting a healthy lifestyle. I find joy in helping others become healthy and active.

I started teaching when I found out how beneficial yoga is. I decided to get my certification because I love yoga so much and I want to share my passion with others.

I have a 200 Hr Yoga Teacher Certificate, 50 Hr Extension Certificate, and a 200 Hr Advance sequencing Teacher Training Certificate.

About the lesson

When working with a new student I will instruct them through an intro level class. Once we go through this flow the first time we can discuss certain target areas where we need to strengthen, stretch, or give extra love to. We will discuss what your goals are in your yoga practice and what we need to do to reach them.

I have taught to students between the age of 18 to 50 all levels.

I would figure out what your reason is for why you want to practice or learn yoga and hire a yoga instructor who can provide that for you.

I am going through a continuous learning program for yoga instructors and I love how new ideas about cultural appreciation are being introduced towards traditional yoga.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should discuss what they do on a day-to-day basis for example sitting at a computer all day long or any repetitive motions so we can cater to your body and needs. Are there any specific locations in your body that feel sore daily? Are there any health issues you are concerned with?
