About Adolfo

I teach Hatha yoga. I am trained as an "Anusara" teacher since 2011. I am a graduate from the World Yoga Center in NYC. Anusara is a modern method of Hatha yoga who has 5 universal principles of alignment (restorative based on advanced biomechanics), tantric philosophy and a worlwide community.

I started by subbing my first Anusara teacher in 2010. Then I worked in the fitness industry for 3 years. Then in yoga studios and one on one sessions since 2014.

I am about to become Anusara Certified. That means that I will have 500hrs of teacher's training registered in Yoga Alliance. I've been studying this style of yoga since 2011. But beyond that is about every single day be able to learn something that can help me and my students to live without pain and suffering. Realize that life is a gift!!! Celebrating practice of yoga as the practice of life.

About the lesson

Due to the tools that Anusara yoga offer, I can customize the program for each student looking into their qualities in order to adapt yoga practice to their bodies and into their daily lives, instead of trying to achieve just shapes of yoga poses that has nothing to do with the real purpose of what yoga is about.

All ages. I used to teach seniors too.

Yoga is not a sport, is among a lot of things, a spiritual practice that happens in the human experience. That if they allow it to happen, could be a transformative experience.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
There must exist a clear intention of the sutudent. Why is that they want to start to practice yoga, because in that story their needs are included. Sometime is because they have injuries or because is trendy. But on time the idea is that they will discover the best in themselves of themselves.

Details

Varies, depend on the duration of the class. But I charge between 50 to 100 dollars. Usually I teach 1:30hrs. But sometimes I have clients of 1 hr.
