About Betty
I’ll listen to you and work to understand your individual needs and goals. Using the tools of yoga and mediation I will create sessions that are sure to feel good in your body and quiet your monkey mind. Come as you are, play as you want and always be innocent and gentle with yourself.
Through connection, gentleness and deep listening I guide clients to create mobility and strength in their bodies, peace in the mind, joy in the outward experience of life!
I found yoga while working at the Baptiste Yoga Institute and ended up at a Level One teacher training in October 2011. I saw in my own body the power of the practice. I was afraid to teach, and that fear showed me it was time to stand up in front of people and share the practice of yoga. Shortly thereafter, I began teaching. I went on to complete my Level Two and thus my 200 hours certification through the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute in April 2014, 36 weeks pregnant!
I look forward to empowering you, body, mind, and soul in the practice of union – yoga!

I have my 200 hour Registered Yoga Teacher Certification through the Baptiste Power Yoga Institute.
I attend workshops and retreats to hone my craft and continue my exploration so that I can share more fully with you!
I am a student of ascension meditation as taught by the Ishya’s of the bright path and I practice this daily.
I share meditation tool and techniques based on my experience of how they have shifted my eyes open experience of life!

With new private clients, we will align in your goals, we then create a schedule to work together one on one (in person or virtually) once a week for at least 5 sessions. We will use the tools of yoga and meditation to move you to your goals and reduce stress and reaction in your life.
I offer two main programs:
1:1 Stress Busting Movement and Meditation | five private sessions customized for you to reduce stress, strengthen and open your body. Taught over 5 to 7 weeks, 75 minutes per session either in your space or virtually.
Growing Peace, Ease & Joy | Movement and Meditation Supporting Mothers in their Journey | An 8-week program for mothers at any stage experiencing stress and guilt so that you and your children thrive in life!

Betty is a great teacher and gave us a great workout! She is friendly and has a great spirit!
Learning to breathe and letting it go. Learning soft easy ques to remind my body what feels good to help stretch and ease the pain. Easy meditation skills to help relieve my stress level. I can make my body do hard things and it's okay that I am not perfect in each move or exercise and that it feels good to just laugh it out sometimes.
