Love it! In the past, I would go to studio classes for a little while and then stop taking them. The studios I would go to were often very impersonal and I never felt like I was able to progress or understand what yoga was all about. That has all come to pass now that I've began taking lessons with Elaine! Her ability to transition between different styles, difficulties, and areas of focus provide a refreshingly tailored experience that has had me coming back weekly! I feel like her classes have allowed me to deepen my understanding of yoga and provided me a much needed space for relaxation and self-improvement. I recommend her to all my friends and family, of which many have become clients themselves. First off, every lesson that I took was planned 100% for me. Elaine was very mindful of asking what space I was in before the practice in order to ensure that I could target my specific goals for the day. Her guidance is gentle, but clear, and she is able to maintain a good pace throughout the entire session. She's very light-hearted too, so I always felt secure enough to open up alongside her, and my yoga practice benefitted from that immensely. Although she had just attained her yoga teacher certification during the time she taught me, I felt that her work has a professional quality to it, paired with a genuine sensibility and a desire to connect with other beings.
