About Kerry
Our unique rustic studio specializes in yoga practitioners 50+ and all those who wish to stay strong, vibrant and thrive in their lives and practice through midlife and beyond. We welcome beginners to the more seasoned practitioner. With spacious pacing and small class sizes students are invited into the inquiry of their practice, opening into the body’s wisdom thru breath, mindful attention, asana and inner alignment. Kerry brings 4+ decades of practice and experience to her unique approach and is passionate about yoga's gifts for vibrant, mindful and concious aging.

I've a life long practice and have studied with many different teachers and have let me practice evolve and grow as I have. I resepct the different needs of the body over different times in our lives.
In depth year long yoga teacher training, 1981-82.
I have been teaching on and off since then, and opened my own small studio in 2000.

If i have a new student in class then always a welcome and check in to assertain what kind of yoga experience the student has. A bit of quiry about any injuries and possible limitations the studend may have and then make sure I get them set up for class and feel welcome.
In private work, there is an intake form, and more indepth conversation around a clients needs and goals, lifestyle and setting up a lesson plan for them. Each client also goes home with a practice card for their home practice.
