About Teau

I am a vocal consultant. Currently I teach audio engineering, production, arrangement and composition at an Alternative High School. My background is an eclectic one, ranging in singing, songwriting, performance, recording and media arts.

I don't believe in putting a voice in a box. It doesn't matter if you sing rock, pop or soul, any singer can condition the voice in any genre. Your voice can be trained to be reliable and more powerful during live performances and in recordings. I will focus on the clients range and ability and tailor the lessons so that they can reach their highest potential.

I love when a client find their voice and vocal style.

• 20 years of singing, songwriting, performing and recording

• Licensed Audio Technology Teacher

• 15 years + in Special Education

About the lesson

• Get client comfortable and get them in a space of relaxation.

• Get to know client's strengths and weaknesses

• Share techniques related to singing, recording and performing

Address

* Intro (the basic idea and benefits of the excercise or shared technique)

* Coordination (how to actually do it, address pitfalls and troubleshoot common singer issues)

* Conditioning (train the voice)

The goal is to get to know the client's range and explain the process to make the voice healthy, reliable and powerful for live performances and studio recording.

I have had the opportunity to work with professionals and clients who are studying purely as a hobby.
