About Ella

I keep my tutoring age-appropriate and FUN! as a student myself I am able to understand the struggles and stress that school can bring and I am willing to help with that stress by keeping tutoring fun!

I love getting to know my students. I try to keep my learning atmosphere fun and exciting I never want a student to dread coming to see me!

As a student myself I am surrounded by education, I have completed trigonometry and pre-calculus at the college level and feel confident that I can be a great help to students struggling in basic math skills. I have worked with elementary age children and younger for 5 years now and feel confident that I can help with their math skills in an age appropriate manner.

About the lesson

I typically do a free 30-minute session asking questions about learning styles and what specific things need to be worked on. After that, I will create a plan to get students on the right path to being successful in the subject. I will continue to check in with parents and students and make adjustments as needed.

I have worked with children of all ages but I prefer to work with children K-6.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before coming to an introduction meeting with me I would like my students to think about:

Thus far, who has your favorite teacher been and why?

Will you put work in outside of my tutoring sessions to practice your skills?

Is your teacher moving too fast, not accommodating to your specific learning style, or are you just not motivated in this subject etc.
