About Sofia
My name is Sofia Beer, I am currently a junior at Oregon State University. I am majoring in Human Development and Family Sciences and am Pre-Medicine.
I have three years of experience tutoring elementary and middle school math. I am also open to tutoring biology, chemistry, or other subjects upon request.
I love being able to help students feel like school is not a barrier for them. I have when students feel discouraged about themselves because they do not understand a subject. I know our school system is not for everyone and I want to get students to a place where they feel confident within themselves.
I have three years of tutoring experience. I am also a junior in the Oregon State Honors College and have taken many human development courses. These courses have helped me understand how people have many different learning styles and the best way to approach different learning styles.
