About Jamie
I'm a certificated elementary school teacher with 17 years of classroom experience. I am passionate about teaching. I'm patient and I make sure my students learn. I was the teacher of the year at my school.
I wanted to be a teacher when I was in kindergarten. In high school, I knew I wanted to help kids, so I decided to become a teacher.
I have a master's degree in elementary education with an emphasis in math.

After I meeting a new student and getting to know them a little, I like to get started with background knowledge of their skills. Then I like to get started with what they need.
All types of students. I have been in public schools for 17 years.
Find someone who is going to be patient with you. Find an experienced teacher.
One year, one of my former students came back to my classroom (after he graduated high school) and told me that because of me, he was able to get through math.
