About Alejandro
I offer a high quality and engaging tutoring experience for a variety of students with a wide range of learning goals. I particularly specialize in tutoring clients enrolled in more advanced math courses, including Pre-Caculus, Calculus, AP Calculus, AP Statisics, AP Physics, and those interested SAT & ACT test preparation. I enjoy making a difference in the lives of my students by helping them accomplish their academic goals, and instilling in them important learning abilities which gives them the competence and confidence to succeed.
I have tutored for 10+ years, both independently and within tutoring companies. My major in college was Mathematics/Statistics at Cal State University Northridge.

I begin by first assessing the student's current capabilities and how they stand relative to the class that they are attending. I focus on building a solid foundation of understanding for the student so that they can adapt to new material, and perform well on examinations. Conceptual understanding combined with technical mastery through repetition is my philosophy for success, and I work hard so that all of my students may accomplish their academic goals and meet their full potential.
