About Lance

Hi,

I'm Lance, and I graduated from Cornell University in 2023 with a Bachelor of Science. Since then, I have pursued a Master of Public Health and a Master of Bioethics, and I am currently in the process of applying to medical school. Not too long ago, I was in the position of my students: a middle or high schooler who either wanted enrichment or clarification on the material. I understand the needs of my students because I was in their shoes!

During my time at Cornell, I took a myriad of STEM courses, forming a strong foundation in mathematics, biology, chemistry, physics, and other disciplines. As for qualifications, I scored an 800 on the SAT Math Section and achieved high grades in all of my college-level math and sciences courses.

When it comes to your student, I will go to any length to see them succeed. Seeing the pure joy of learning underscores one of the primary reasons I love tutoring. There's nothing better than finally witnessing a concept click for a student. I frequently craft worksheets for my students if we are not discussing homework/classwork material. I tailor these worksheets to my students' needs with problem types that target their weaker areas.

Feel free to message me if you have any questions. I hope to have the opportunity to work with your student.

Best,

Lance

LAZR Learning is great! My tutor was very patient to work with and guided me through all the problems. They have a great interface to use on online learning. It was the first time I genuinely felt confident about Precalculus concepts.
