About Chana

I have three years' teaching experience and am currently a mathematics undergraduate student. I enjoy teaching and helping students succeed.

I enjoy helping people to understand mathematical concepts, develop a passion for the subject and perform well. I also enjoy the challenge of breaking down and explaining complex ideas.

I started tutoring classmates and students from younger grades in highschool and found I enjoyed it.

I've tutored students in math for the past three years and helped many to improve their grades. I took honors math in highschool and am currently a mathematics undergraduate student.

About the lesson

I prepare an introductory lesson in advance, communicate and work with the student to see where they're at and how they study, and then progress accordingly to help them excel.

I've worked with advanced students as well as students that struggled with math.

Don't ever be afraid to ask questions, any good teacher just wants you to learn and the more you ask the more you'll know.

Recently, I went for a long walk with my sister and we spoke about things that amused us and enjoyed ourselves very much.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure to try your best before you ask so you can grow through the experience and thought process, even if you don't manage to find the answer alone, you'll learn something or think about something in a new way that can help you later on. But never be afraid to ask if you don't know something.
