About Archishmaan
WeTeach is a an orginazation that focuses on teaching for understanding. We aren't interested in formulaic, uninformed learning. We want what the students to be intuitive and natural. Our focus isnt that the student should memorize that a^2+b^2 = c^2, but rather how this formula came to be.
What our orginzation cheirishes most are proofs. We enjoy showing student the why and not just focusing on the how, although of course that is an important piece of it. We enjoy seeing the spark of realization when a formula or process makes complete sense to the student and isn't some abstract idea.
