About Peter
I have years of experience teaching guitar in Scotland, where I'm from. I taught guitar at a summer camp in Soquel California in the Santa Cruz mountains for 5 summers. An unbelievable place and magical experience.
I regularly perform music at various events in California. It's my desire to pass on what I have learned over the years playing guitar and to hopefully instill in a student the joy, fun and happiness to be had learning.
I like to see a spark of an idea turn into a flame! When a student learns something new and it sets off a chain reaction to discovering something else. It's important to keep it interesting and fun and be aware of what a student wants to learn. I think basic fundamentals are important. There is a process to get from A to B and having fun getting there. First you gotta walk before you can run!
