About Tabea

I'm an international student from Austria at Lincoln Memorial University. Going into my fourth year of College I feel confident to help students primarily in German but also other classes within the fields of Exercise Science, Political Science, and Psychology. Every session will be tailored to the students needs and knowledge of the subject as there is no one size fits it all. I have official experience with tutoring math in High School and teaching German to an Iraqi refugee. Unofficially, I have helped many of my friends and teammates with studying successfully for different classes.

I enjoy talking about the subjects I am passionate about and the challenge of finding out why a student is experiencing difficulties in a certain area. My role as a tutor is to help the student find the best approach towards studying for a class and subject. Academic success can be achieved in so many different ways and helping students improve in a class or subject truly fullfills me.

I have expericen as a Math tutor in High School and with teaching German to an Iraqi refugee. As a German native speaker I have in-depth experience with the language mastering it through my 12 years of education in Austria.

About the lesson

In the first session I will ask the student about their needs, goals, and struggles with the subject. If uncertain I might tdo a short chat or quiz about a topic within the subject. Based on the student's need I will develop a plan together to work on weaknesses and challenges. I will also aks the student about learning habits and test taking strategies to identify areas of improvement.

Look for a teacher who understands that every student has different needs and who can help students of all different levels.
