About Sarah
I was raised bilingually and biculturally (American and Japanese), which is to say I understand the importance of culture in language learning! I make learning fun by incorporating incorporating current events, pop culture, and more.

I've worked mostly with business professionals, focusing on pronunciation, fluidity, and situational English. I also have experience with children; I worked as a childcare providor for years and have an understanding of children's cognition and language acquisition due to my educational background.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should think about their goals when startng out with a new teacher. Do you have a big presentation coming up? Do you have an essay you need help with? Or maybe you just want to learn for the fun of it? No matter what you want to accomplish in terms of your tutoring, it's important to be honest about what you need from a teacher. And we'll do whatever we can to make it happen!
