About Jean
I had the opportunity to work in different roles of being in the education field for around 15 years: after school program leader, tutor, substitute teacher, instructional aide, and a math teacher at a Title One School. In 2017, I went overseas to Shanghai and have been teaching 6th English and 6th-8th English Math at a private bilingual school. During my last three years overseas, I worked with 4th and 5th graders teaching English.
I believe student's academics are essential to see potential growth but I also believe their character is important. By instilling these skills in the long run, they can apply these skills in their life. Overall, I have a passion to make learning an engaging experience and wanting to make an impact in their lives.
