About Santiago
I seek to provide students with personalized lessons that cater to their learning style and capabilities with one overarching goal, to push students toward a full understanding of the academic topics at hand, leading to fulfilling learning experiences and a newfound curiosity, ultimately establishing the foundation for lifelong learning.
I got started in tutoring in a club while in high school, first helping my classmates and then moving on to middle schoolers and, as I progressed through high school, underclassmen at my school.
I have been tutoring students aged 12-18 since 2017, participating in tutoring clubs all four years of high school. I am also pursuing a tutor certification and formalizing the creation of my own tutoring business.

I begin by asking the student what type of learning they prefer. Whether they like lectures, activities, games, visual aids, etc.
I then proceed to ask the student what they hope to gain from my help, whether it be understanding a topic, getting a certain grade, etc.
From there, I develop a plan based on the student's schedule to achieve the goals set forward at their pace and using their style of learning.
I have mostly worked with students ages 12-18.
Make sure you choose someone who is passionate about what they teach, I sure am!
I am fond of my most recent paddling trip to Canada, where I was able to ride the white waters of the wildly magical Ashuapmushuan river.
