About Miles
I am trained in: Theory, Classical, Jazz, Blues, Latin, contemporary, and modern styles of music. I have been performing for 20 years and have been tutoring, teaching, and mentoring for 10 years.
Music has been at the forefront of my life and I want to share my passion of music with a new generation of musicians and want to guide students to their personal goals in music.
I have performed in: Professional classical chamber music, Jazz ensembles, DCI marching unit, High school level marching band, percussion ensembles, Bagpipe ensembles, small ensembles ie. quartets.
I enjoy seeing the spark of passion in someone who truly loves music, whether it is performing, composing, and/or producing and helping to guide that student to meet their goals.
I taught incoming freshman in High school marching band that transitioned to giving private lessons geared towards middle school students preparing them for high school marching band.
