About Francisco
I have an Master in Fine Arts in Acting from Florida State University, have worked with Equity theatres in Florida, Texas and California, I am both an Equity and a SAG-Aftra member, I have been in over a dozen commercials ranging from local to National Spots with AT&T and Amazon, and have booked roles on Television: my last role being in Season 10 of Curb your Ethusiasm. IMDB: (concealed information)
I love the craft and the ability to express myself creatively. Some people feel bound by the limitations of the camera or the stage but if properly understood these factors are a gift to the artist.
I first started teaching through an afterschool program at a Highschool in Austin, Texas. I worked with a non profit called Creative Action. I taught acting classes for elementary school students and high school students. Shortly thereafter I earned an MFA in Acting which allows me to teach in a University. I am a full-time actor, but I enjoy teaching.
My Education/training is as follows:
Florida State University MFA (2013)- Greg Leaming, Andrei Malaev-Babel, Patricia Delorey, Margaret Eginton, Brendon Fox
British American Dramatic Academy’s Midsummer in Oxford Program - Sir John Barton, Ian Wooldridge, Andrew Wade, Jackie Snow, Peter Francis James
University of Texas at Austin BA (2005)- Franchelle Dorn, Barney Hammond, Lee Abraham
Upright Citizens Brigade - Improv 101 & Improv 201
Lesly Kahn & Company - Comedy Intensive - Single and Multicam Comedy

We would set up an interview where we could talk and go over their resume/previous experience. Once we have established their level of expertise we'd establish a clear goal.
I've worked with beginners and experts. My experience has a broad range. Just because an actor is masterful on stage doesn't mean he's mastered working on camera and vice versa. Each technique is quite different.
Look at their credits, but also look at their years as a teacher. The best actor isn't always the best teacher and the best teacher doesn't always know what's practical in the real world. You want someone who's a good balance of both.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
They should think about what their goals are. Am I doing it for fun? Am I choosing to enter this as a career? It's important to have an answer, because it will determine a lot about how your curriculum will be shaped.

Francisco was great, especially as I started off in LA. He definitely helped me find my footing here. I've gone to him a couple times now for various things. The first time, I reached out because I had no idea what how to approach the monster of what is LA acting. He was able to give me huge insight, while still being personable. Most of my experience was in theatre and so film was a bit intimidating to me and I felt out of my element. Pre- covid I was also able to take a small group class session with him. He was able to help me approach characters and arch more clearly especially when in an Audition room and for cold reads. For my private class, he had me prepare a monologue was able to walk me through the elements of how to enhance my performance and adjust to camera. I started of when self tapes were beginning to become more prevalent so I felt like I came to him at such a right time. He helped me with a lot of technical aspects that I needed as well, which were a lot so I'm grateful for his patience. Then we were able to hone down on the performance itself. Honestly, I was so nervous and uncomfortable being in front of my camera, he has made it so much easier. Lately, I've gone to him a few times online to help me improve with self taping and how to shape it so it stands out. Also, ask him about basic plans to approach the industry. He has a great "starter kit plan" that he lays out for you too. I personally enjoy his teaching because he shares practical skills you'll need for the audition room / tapes. things I don't ever remember learning in my acting programs.
