About Todd
Todd Simmonds is an all around entertainer with numerous skills including, Tap Dancing, Stand-Up Comedy, Magic, Singing and of course, Acting. An alumni of The American Academy of Dramatic Arts in New York City, Todd has been performing for over forty years, appearing in numerous stage, television and film productions. His focus is on teaching students to dissect a character in pursuit of finding that characters needs and wants. Upon finding these things, Todd shows a student how to put that information into action that brings the character to life..
I was performing for a professional Dinner theater and they started a school of the Arts and asked me to teach.

New students are encouraged to bring a monologue that they have worked on. Together we begin with some relaxation/warm up excercises and then move into basic improvisation. After exhibiting an understanding of technique in the improvs we move on to an actual script and continue to work on applying those lessons to the script.
