About CJ

I'm one of the most proficient and versatile working artists on the NH Seacoast. I've got over a decade of experience working with students of all ages, abilities, and skill levels. I believe that all arts disciplines are interconnected. I love exploring this with my students and integrating their personal interests into our work together. I don't believe in teaching the "right" way to do something; instead, we'll collaborate together and find the best path forward for you to achieve your goals.

The arts are transformative! I love finding 'A-HA!' moments with my clients and students, and building on those in an exciting and engaging way.

My teaching experience began when I was as a teaching artist at NH Theatre Project in Portsmouth, NH. I started running youth summer programs and eventually moved on to artist residency programs at secondary education schools throughout the country. After that, I began working professionally as an applied theatre facilitator - developing and hosting interactive trainings for professionals in the business world and higher education.

I've been a working actor, director, and musician for almost 15 years with credits and experience all around the country. I've worked on stage, and in tv & film. I've got extensive experience working in the corporate, municipal, and higher education sectors running interactive personal & professional development trainings.

About the lesson

I like to take a session to get to know students' goals, fears, aspirations, and reasons for their interest in the field. Then we'll set a plan and go from there. I'm here to serve your needs and coach you towards your goals.

I've worked with students as young as 6 and as old as 85. I've worked with non-performers, folks who are just getting started, students who pursue the arts as a hobby, and also seasoned professionals. I've also got experience working with students with developmental disabilities.

Find someone who will help support your goals and growth and development.
