About Marla
I am a professional Tony nominated Broadway actress and graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division with 30 years of experience. Currently coaching students in audition preparation for college programs, graduate programs, and professional auditions.
What I love most about private coaching is to help students overcome what may be getting in the way of their success. We work hard and accomplish a great deal in my sessions and we do it with honesty and courage.
Graduate of the Juilliard School Drama Division
Nominated for a Tony Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Jane Eyre.
Winner of the Drama Desk Award, Outer Critics Circle Award, and Drama League Award for Best Actress in a Musical for Jane Eyre.
Starred in national tours of "My Fair Lady" as Eliza Doolittle, "The Sound of Music" as Maria, "Evita" as Eva Peron among others.
Created original roles in countless new works off-Broadway and regionally.
