About Laura
I am passionate about my craft. I put my all into making, performing, and creating art.
When your students and or fellow artist make you stop taking notes, and you are forced to become the audience.
I started teaching in summer arts programs in college.
I have an undergraduate degree in performance from Morgan State University and an MFA from MICA.

I start by seeing what the student is bringing to the table. I start with where they are and work and develop from there.
I have worked with students from the ages of 5 years old to adults.
Be ready to work. Be brave and unafraid of the challenge of creating. Know that it takes hours of work to make it look like it's easy. Know that technique is just as important as talent.
