I have been working with children and youth for nearly 20 years. I have been a teacher for 13 years and an administrator for 4 years. I have taught grades 1-7 and specialize in Physical Education and Mathematics.

I am a strong believer of:
1. Fostering effective relationships with students: The best part of being a teacher is to be able to speak directly into student's lives and to engage and help them grow as young people. The best way to do that is by creating a safe atmosphere where children are comfortable being themselves and asking for help when needed.
2. Specific and effective feedback: All kids thrive on encouragement, but not just "you are awesome," but specific encouragement that builds them up immediately and also allows for growth opportunities.
