About Julia
Hi! I’m a recent A-Level student with a passion for science and maths, and I specialise in tutoring GCSE and A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths (including Mechanics, Statistics, and Pure). I achieved all A*s at GCSE in Biology, Chemistry, Maths, and Physics, and have just completed my A-Levels — meaning my knowledge of the current curriculum, exam boards, and assessment strategies is fully up-to-date. Experience I’ve supported students in my school through 1:1 tutoring, group revision, and peer mentoring in subjects like A-Level Biology, Chemistry, and Maths. I’ve also worked with younger pupils at various levels, helping them overcome common challenges and gain confidence in STEM subjects. Why Choose Me? I know exactly what it’s like to sit these exams — and how to succeed in them. I bring fresh, relevant insight into what examiners are looking for and how to approach tricky questions under pressure. Whether you're preparing for your GCSEs, A-Levels, or resits, I’ll help guide you step by step with encouragement, structure, and practical tips. Let’s work together to make science and maths something you actually enjoy — and succeed in.

My sessions are calm, engaging, and tailored to each student’s learning style. I believe in breaking down tricky concepts into clear steps, and I love seeing that "lightbulb moment" when it finally clicks. Whether you're aiming to build strong foundations or fine-tune your exam technique, I adapt each lesson to focus on what you need most, offering targeted explanations, exam tips, and revision strategies to boost your confidence and results.

Julia is one of those tutors who just gets it. She explains tricky topics in a way that actually sticks and doesn’t make you feel silly for asking questions. She’s super patient and creates a calm environment that really helps you focus. I always left our sessions feeling clearer and more confident.
It as great to learn with Gauri, it felt like an experience rather than just learning.
The modules which she has created are easy to comprehend, and relatable.View more recommendations
