I had struggled with German grammar for a long time, especially cases and sentence structure. This was the first time it actually started to make sense.

What makes the difference is the way things are explained. Instead of just correcting mistakes, he shows you why they happen, which helps you improve much faster.

The lessons are focused but still relaxed, and I feel more confident speaking after each session. I would definitely recommend him to anyone who wants to make real progress.

Jay is an exceptionally effective German language teacher with a proven and long track record on other platforms, which is how I know of him. His methods are the most accessible that I’ve come across in terms of his ability to explain complex grammar in ways that are memorable and make sense. He delivers everything with warmth, patience and humour, whilst being extremely structured, rigorous and knowledgeable about language, etymology and cultural and historical context.
