About Neil
My name is Neil Bailey and my teaching journey began after graduating and taking my first job teaching in Zimbabwe. I have extensive experience teaching GCSE in both local and international settings namely Spain, UAE and Kuwait. It is both an honour and a privilege to be able to extend greater opportunities to young people. I enjoy seeing that spark when children spot patterns and can make generalisations or solve a problem. It is also a job where I feel that I am contributing to the wider society in a positive way.

Planned structured and interactive lessons which focus on the needs of the individual. Many students develop a phobia of number skills due to non-mastery of number bonds and times tables. This can be rectified by exploring the relationships between calculations. There is often an emphasis on learning algorithms in Maths without understanding the main concepts and underlying connections between different topics.
Students will be encouraged to model their understanding using visual representations when they are appropriate.
