About Renuprasad

Teaching has always been an important part of my life. I started my career as a Mathematics teacher in 2001 and, even after moving into software engineering, I continued tutoring because I genuinely enjoy helping students learn and grow.

I hold degrees in Mathematics, Statistics and Computer Science, as well as a Master's in Computer Applications (MCA). Over the years, I've taught school students, coached candidates preparing for competitive entrance exams, and more recently helped students prepare for the UK 11+ grammar school entrance exams.

Some of the students I taught in my early career are now working in senior roles at multinational companies, and a few even became my colleagues in the IT industry. Seeing their journey come full circle has been incredibly rewarding.

I believe every student can succeed with the right guidance and encouragement. My aim is not just to improve exam results but to help students become confident, independent learners who enjoy solving problems. Whether your child needs extra support, wants to build confidence, or is aiming for top grades, I provide patient, structured lessons tailored to their individual needs.

About the lesson

I have been teaching for over 20 years, starting my career as a Mathematics teacher before moving into software engineering. Alongside my professional career, I have continued tutoring students in Mathematics, helping them build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I teach KS2, KS3, GCSE and 11+ Mathematics, as well as Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning. Every lesson is tailored to the student's current level, learning style and goals. I begin by understanding their strengths and areas for improvement, then create a structured plan that builds strong fundamentals before progressing to more challenging topics.

I believe students should understand why a method works rather than simply memorising it. Once they grasp the concepts, they can solve unfamiliar problems with confidence. Lessons include explanations, worked examples, guided practice and exam-style questions to reinforce learning.

Over the years, many of my former students have gone on to successful careers, with several now working in leading multinational companies. More recently, I have helped students prepare for the 11+ grammar school entrance exams, with all of my recent students successfully qualifying for grammar schools.

Whether your child needs support catching up, wants to improve confidence, or is preparing for important exams, my aim is to make Maths enjoyable, build problem-solving skills and help every student reach their full potential.
