About Sanjana

My Approach as a Tutor:
I’m an engineering graduate with over 5 years of experience teaching math to middle and high school students. My lessons focus on understanding why concepts work, not just how to use formulas. I make math fun and logical through real-life examples, visuals, and interactive problem-solving.

My Teaching Method:
Each lesson begins with a quick recap or warm-up, followed by a simple explanation of the new concept using visuals or everyday examples. Students then solve guided and independent practice problems while I provide step-by-step feedback and tips. I adjust my pace based on each student’s comfort and understanding.

A Typical Lesson Plan:
Warm-up: Quick mental math or review
Concept Introduction: Visual and simple explanation
Guided Practice: Solve examples together
Independent Practice: Student-led problem-solving
Wrap-up: Recap and short assignment

What Sets Me Apart:
I turn complex ideas into simple, memorable lessons.
My sessions are interactive and I focus on building confidence and long-term understanding, not just test results.

Who My Lessons Are For:
Grades: 6–12

Subjects: Math (Pre-Algebra, Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Functions, SAT/GCSE Prep)

Ideal for students who want to strengthen their foundation, prepare for exams, or simply start enjoying math again!

About the lesson

Hi! I’m Sanjana — an engineering graduate and passionate math tutor with over 5 years of experience teaching middle and high school students. I believe math isn’t about memorizing formulas. It’s about understanding patterns, logic, and problem-solving in a way that actually makes sense. My goal is to help every student say, “Oh, that’s easy!” after learning a concept. I’ve worked with students following different curricula (Canadian, Common Core, CBSE, IGCSE) and helped many improve both their confidence and grades. My teaching style is friendly, creative, and personalized. I adapt every lesson to suit each student’s pace and learning style. When I’m not teaching, I love creating math content for my YouTube channel. If you want to truly understand math and not just pass it, I’d love to help you get there.
