About Sophie

I’ve recently completed my A-levels in Maths, Chemistry and History and I am about to begin a degree in Mathematics. I’ve always enjoyed helping classmates understand tricky topics and by teaching, it allows me to share my enthusiasm for these subjects while supporting others to overcome challenges and gain confidence. I know what it feels like to prepare for exams, and I want to make that process easier and less stressful for students by guiding them with clear explanations and encouragement.

About the lesson

My lessons are built around your individual needs. I focus on breaking down difficult concepts in Maths and Chemistry into clear, manageable steps, while building confidence and problem-solving skills. Having recently completed A-levels myself, I understand the challenges students face and explain topics in a relatable way. I encourage questions, provide exam-style practice, and adapt my approach so every session helps you progress steadily. My goal is not just to help you achieve better grades, but also to develop lasting confidence in your subject knowledge.
