About Ephraim

I am a dedicated honors student and programmer with a passion for mathematics and logical problem-solving. Over the years, writing structured code and developing software in Java and JavaScript has trained my mind to look at complex equations as logical systems with clear solutions. This intersection of computer science and mathematics allows me to offer a step-by-step approach to Algebra 1 and 2 that traditional tutoring often misses.

About the lesson

These lessons are tailored specifically for middle and high school students tackling Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. As a programmer experienced in Java and JavaScript, I look at algebra through a logical lens. What sets me apart is that I teach math as a series of clear, step-by-step algorithms rather than dry formulas to memorize.

My teaching method focuses on breaking down complex equations into bite-sized, logical blocks. A typical 30-minute lesson begins with a quick concept review using relatable visual analogies, followed by guided step-by-step problem-solving, and ends with interactive troubleshooting where we fix any mistakes together.

My structured approach has helped students go from feeling completely overwhelmed by equations to mastering variables and functions with absolute confidence. I am committed to making math practical, and highly rewarding!
