About Allen

I am an experienced language teacher offering German and English lessons at native level. I have many years of professional teaching experience and currently teach English to students of different ages and ability levels in Germany.

I enjoy helping learners become more confident and independent in using a language. I am patient, approachable and able to explain grammar and difficult language structures clearly. Because I have an excellent command of both German and English, I can also explain the important differences between the two languages and help learners avoid common mistakes.

My lessons are always adapted to the individual student. Whether you need support with schoolwork, exams, speaking, writing, grammar, professional communication or everyday conversation, I will help you work towards your goals in a structured and supportive way.

About the lesson

My lessons are practical, structured and adapted to the individual learner. I first identify the student’s current level, goals and areas of difficulty, and then create lessons that combine clear explanations with active practice. Depending on the learner’s needs, we may focus on conversation, grammar, pronunciation, vocabulary, writing, reading comprehension or exam preparation.

A typical lesson begins with a short warm-up or conversation to activate previous knowledge. We then work on the main topic through examples, guided exercises and real-life situations. I make sure that students do not simply memorise rules, but understand how and when to use the language. At the end of the lesson, we review the most important points and identify what should be practised next.

What sets me apart is my professional experience as a teacher and my ability to explain difficult language points in a clear and accessible way. I teach both German and English at native level and can therefore help students understand the differences between the two languages, including common grammar, vocabulary and pronunciation mistakes. My aim is to create a supportive atmosphere in which students feel comfortable speaking, asking questions and making mistakes.

My lessons are suitable for school students, university students and adults at all levels. I offer support with general language learning, schoolwork, exam preparation, conversation practice, professional communication and improving confidence in speaking and writing.
