About Tariq

Hey there! As an English tutor, I take pride in being able to make grammar fun (yes, it's possible!). My teaching style is all about balancing hard work and humor - because let's face it, nobody wants to be bored in class. My goal is to keep you engaged and motivated while also helping you achieve your language goals. (I’m also an avid fan of memes :D)

I'm currently studying Biomedical Sciences In University. I've worked with students from all over the world. I specialize in accent reduction, so if you're tired of being mistaken for a tourist, I'm here to help. Whether you're a beginner or an advanced learner, I can create a customized lesson plan that fits your needs and learning style.

When I'm not teaching, you can usually find me scrolling through social media (for research purposes, of course) or binge-watching TV shows with the subtitles on (because why not learn while being entertained?). I'm always on the lookout for new ways to make learning fun and engaging, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

About the lesson

One of the key areas that many non-native speakers struggle with is accent reduction. This is because English has many sounds that are not present in other languages, and it can be challenging to learn how to pronounce them correctly. That's why I use a variety of techniques to help you improve your pronunciation and reduce your accent. We'll work together to identify any specific sounds or patterns that are causing difficulties, and practice them until you feel confident and comfortable with your new pronunciation.

But accent reduction is just one part of my approach to teaching English. I also focus on grammar, vocabulary, and overall fluency. With my guidance, you'll develop a strong foundation in English that will allow you to communicate effectively in any situation.
