About Shawn
I do hold degrees in Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound, Public Health and Safety and International Business. I tutor students locally no less than 4 hours a week. I substitute teach in the Cullman City Schools System since 2014. I have been independently teaching English to English language learners from all over Asia, including India, the Middle East, Mexico and South America for 28 years. In addition, I am a medical language specialist and can assist in learning medical terminology.

I teach English by English immersion method. I do prefer that you are already actively learning English as a second/foreign language. If you are involved in the medical field, I also specialize in teaching American Medical Terminology. I have been teaching ESL for a total of 28 years, actually leaving the medical field to teach ESL full time in 2019. My students have had much success due to my patience and unique methods of helping them to understand and speak English.
