My Approach to Tutoring: My teaching is focused on personalisation and proven methods. I believe every student has unique strengths, and I tailor my approach to help them reach their full potential. Techniques and Teaching Methodology: I start with an assessment to understand each student's level and learning style. Lessons are structured but interactive, combining clear instruction with engaging activities. I emphasise critical thinking and understanding, not just memorisation. Regular feedback ensures students and parents see progress. Typical Length of a Lesson: Standard sessions are 60 minutes. For exam preparation or more intensive study, 90-minute sessions are available. Qualifications and Experience: MA in Educational Planning, Economics and International Development (UCL) Bachelor of Education (University of Edinburgh); CELTA-certified Former Homeroom Teacher at top international schools in Shanghai Experience across KS1, KS2, KS3, GCSE English, and ESL Who the Lessons Are For: Key Stages 1, 2, and 3 ESL students of all ages and levels Exam preparation for SATs, 11+, GCSE, and IELTS Availability: Evenings, weekends, and school holidays. In-person in West London and surrounding areas, or remote via Zoom/MS Teams.
