About Jamil

I am a dedicated math educator with a Master’s degree in Math Education and extensive experience tutoring students at the college level. I have worked with a wide range of learners, from students struggling with foundational concepts to those aiming for top exam performance. My background allows me to explain math clearly, patiently, and in a way that builds long-term understanding. I take a professional, supportive approach to tutoring and focus on creating a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions. I am reliable, well-prepared, and committed to helping students reach their academic goals efficiently and confidently.

About the lesson

My lessons focus on helping students truly understand college-level math, not just memorize formulas. I hold a Master’s degree in Math Education and have years of experience tutoring college algebra, precalculus, calculus, and statistics. I specialize in breaking down complex ideas into clear, step-by-step explanations that actually make sense.

A typical lesson starts with a quick assessment of where you’re stuck, followed by targeted explanations and guided practice. I adjust my teaching style in real time based on how you learn, whether you need a conceptual explanation, worked examples, or exam-focused problem strategies.

What sets me apart is my ability to explain difficult topics calmly and clearly, even under time pressure. My lessons are ideal for college students, adult learners, and high-school students taking college-level math who want efficient, personalized support and real confidence in math.
