About Joanna

Hello! I’m Joanna a recent college graduate with a strong background in math and experience tutoring elementary and middle school students. I like finding unique and fun ways to explain concepts so that students can understand them in a way that works best for them.

Outside of tutoring, I enjoy playing piano and clarinet, rock climbing, bullet journaling, and traveling. I’m always open to trying new things and meeting new people. I look forward to working with you!

About the lesson

Every lesson, I not only bring a unique blend of expertise, enthusiasm, and reliability to the table, but also humor and relatability. I understand what it is like sitting in long classes everyday on the verge of falling asleep, so I am dedicated to teaching concepts fun and efficiently. I have flexible schedule, so even outside the scheduled online lesson, I am more than willing to answer any questions the student may have.

I am here to recommend Joanna, not only as her father, but someone has close witness of the enthusiasm, commitment and heart she put into anything that she chose to do. She always shared with her extreme excitement when she could make a change for better in the students she mentored, and seek advice from me on how to improve her approach to individual circumstance. I strongly recommend her as someone that would care about the students progress, and help your kids to have the right attitude, mythology toward problem solving.
