About Anna
I am a college student who enjoys teaching. Ive tutored young children once a week in learning Russian as well as students in my high school on various subjects, although I do have a preference for mathematics.
I am very patient with my students and will try to help in any way I can.
I've always enjoyed teaching and want to do it more often in the future, as a professor.

Our first lesson will consist of getting to know you/your level of mathematics (ie. how you learn, what material you currently do/don’t understand). As well as a dive into where your course is currently at.
Before the first class, I would prefer if my students would send the material that they are going over (ie. class notes or a homework assignment) before our session, with comments on where they are having issues (whether it be conceptual or technical).
I am a visual learner and found that I personally understand the material more if it is presented visually on top of algebraically. I do believe that helps quite a bit with explanations and understanding how math topics are applicable to real life.
I also like to get to know my students on a deeper level. I like my lessons to be light hearted and not a period of time each week that my students dread. So expect some simple jokes and a few laughs here and there!
