Experienced Acting teacher - will help you ace that audition or strengthen skills

I've known Jen for many years as a co-worker and artistic collaborator. She is one of the most patient and genuine teachers (and quite frankly, people) I've ever met. Not only does she continuously assess the interests and needs of students, but she remains open and flexible in order to find the best process for them as an individual. One of the most important qualities Jen possess as a teacher is her willingness to continue learning. She keeps herself updated on current methods and standards in the industry, and remains a working actor and director. I truly can't recommend Jen enough.

I met Jennifer when our sons were in kindergarten together. I got to know her when she was co director of the school play and both my sons were in it. Over the years Jennifer has been a great support and I have hired her to tutor my sons as an art teacher and acting coach. My son, who had some extra challenges because of his autism, performed in his high school musicals every year and we always called Jennifer for tips on acting assignments and auditions.
Our children are in the final years of university and college now and she's been a great help in coaching them for their first job interviews.
Jennifer also coached me when I first took my love for writing on to the stage in several local storytelling events. I know Jennifer as a gifted actor and award winning director and a wonderful teacher.
I asked Jennifer to be my director when I wrote and performed my first full length solo show. She started working with me while I was still rewriting and her focus was always on drawing out the best in me and my story.
I recommend Jennifer because she is creative, compassionate and smart, hard working and funny. Her goal is to bring out the best and make each student shine their brightest.

I have known Jennifer since 2011 when she first served as a guest artist for Shakespearience Performing Arts. Since that time, she has served as a guest artist at dozens of schools and also as a director at one of our summer programs for young people between the ages of 12 and 18. Jennifer's decades of experience with Creative Theatre Company as an acting instructor, her work with Artists In the Schools for the board of education and her impressive acting and writing career makes her exceptionally knowledgeable and experienced in her field of expertise. However, perhaps more impressive is her unique ability to connect and communicate with people of disparate ages, backgrounds and abilities, ensuring that they reach their potential each and every time she works with them. I would unhesitatingly give Jennifer my highest recommendation and am sure that anyone who has ever had the pleasure of working with her before would do the same. If you have an opportunity to learn from her, do it.

Jen, is one of the best teachers I have ever had, she is bubbly, warm hearter, and so much fun to be around. She makes any learning environment so much better and has a great way of explaining things so everyone understands. So glad I had her as a teacher!
