About Amber
My name is Amber. I have been playing guitar for about 15 years and started lessons when I was 8 years old.
Playing guitar and singing has brought me so much joy in life - to performing at talent shows, for friends and family and even writing and recording songs in my personal time.
I am friendly, pretty unserious, and super patient. Learning guitar can be embarrassing when you begin and even I still make mistakes! So, I am perfect to teach you because I will never judge you for wanting to learn!

About the lesson

Through collaboration and fun I will teach you how to play guitar chords, read tabs and sing along to your favorite songs. I have a relaxed methodology when it comes to music and am open to teaching you how to begin writing songs of your own.
We will not cover how to read sheet music in my lessons but I will teach basic understandings of scales, key, chords and rhythm.
I believe the ideal length of any lesson should be 30 minutes so our brains can absorb and work on as much as possible without getting overwhelmed.
I have over 5 years of experience working with primary school children (aged 5-13) but am open to working with older kids too!
I will follow your lead and provide you with the resources and guidance you need to pursue your goals!
