About Aurianna
I have a Bachelor's Degree from the University of Alberta with a Major in English and minor in Biological sciences and a focus on linguistics. I have extensive experience working with students grades 2-12 and helping them build their knowledge and confidence in English.

I use a linguistics-based approach by helping students understand the structure of the language as it compares to their native language, and teaching a strong grammatical foundation before moving on to vocabulary building and pronunciation work. Integral to my teaching strategy is ensuring that students get a chance to practice their skills in conversation and presentations.
