About Kat
I have Postgraduate qualifications in Primary Education and teaching adults. I have been teaching ESL Since 2007 and I worked in Primary Schools, Private Language Centres, Tafe and Universities in Australia, London and Overseas in Singapore. I have taught a variety of students from very diverse backgrounds and educational levels. I am confident and experienced in teaching English speaking, writing, reading, grammar and oral to improve English mastery levels.

My teaching methodology is explicit instruction with scaffolding and the use of templates, glossaries and examples to deliver lessons, clarify new topics and concepts. I focus on risk taking in safe environments and the teaching of Functional English to ensure all foundations of English language skills are covered.
