Hi, everybody! I'm Nathan! I'm a former ESL teacher and current ESL tutor who loves meeting people of different cultures. I also love learning foreign languages and trying new cuisines. I've found that teaching English is one of the best ways to do this. I can't wait to meet you!

Studying solely to pass a test (TOEIC, or TOEFL) will not make you fluent in English or any language for that matter. What is needed in addition to test study materials is exposure to your target language in it's natural environment in a fun and entertaining way. This is where I come in. I am a native speaker of English who has found much success in teaching students using English literature, TV programs, video games, newspapers, or whatever else suits your interests. The goal is to enjoy the interactions that we have because otherwise motivation will deteriorate. Just because the process isn't painful doesn't mean you're not learning anything. :)
